The Design Process

The engineering team at SAM employs a New Product Introduction (NPI) process to meticulously plan the manufacture of each part from start to finish. Through the use of cutting-edge CAM technology, the team designs the manufacturing process for all new work packages coming into the business. Centralised engineering at SAM group level establishes a common platform of machines, engineering, quality systems, and capabilities across all facilities.

We have invested in advanced machining centres to maximise production and handle large parts with ease. Our automated facilities operate 24/7 with pallet loaders and unmanned production, providing unmatched efficiency. Featuring flexible manufacturing systems and 5-axis milling and turning, we deliver the precise solutions our global customers demand. With in-house special processes and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) capabilities, we offer a true one-stop service, reducing transportation costs and lead times.
